Fading leaves on the tree, have a message for me,
whispering so slightly, “live your life full of glee, for soon you’ll be like me”,
all that lives is as grass, vibrant then, fading fast,
as the leaves on this tree, once were healthy and green,
But then transformed to brown, so time brings us all down,
so the leaves whisper on, “love your life ‘fore it’s gone,
Summer has, come and gone;
time ever marches on, you’ll be as me, ere long.”
